Pontoon boats are designed for inland lakes and bays, they’re usually seen going slow because they HAVE the ability to have small engines, most pontoon boats can have extremely large outboard or I/0 motors if the buyer wishes to have one

they dont go that fast. me and my family own a 1993 spectra 20 with a 455 olds. we went to the lake last week and there was 20 (give or take 5) pontoon boats and 3 off them were wanting to race us, we raced and won.

Damn i didn’t know a pontoon boat could go that fast.! when i went on the pontoon boat the driver went really slow. We had to take the fast boat to go water skiing and tubing it was so fun

Great video and very informative. Trust this guy when he says test drive one yourself. You will never go want to go back to a traditional hulled pontoon.
